Abstract Submission

Abstract Submission   : The abstracts of the submissions should be sent to muzeyyen@dunyacongress.com  or info@dunyacongress.com both in English and Turkish. The full versions of the accepted submissions will be published in congress CD and book.
Language of Congress: English and Turkish. There will be simultaneous translation from Turkish to English or vice versa when it is necessary.
Registration                 : Registration will be opened at 08.00 am on 24 February 2010 at Kervansaray hotel in Congress Center, and will stay opened during the scientific program.
Invitation Letters/Permissions : Registered participants requesting an invitation letters, will be sent such letters to their preferred address. There will be no financial advantages associated with such letters.
Presenters, audience, companies, and those who attend to demonstrate their studies must register for the scientific congress. You can register prior to the congress on www.qps-antalya.org, or through kayit@dunyacongress.com email address, or by phone at +90 312 467 14 24 and +90 312 419 86 50.
Main Theme                : The main theme of the congress is “Enhancing Patient Safety: Prevention and Control of Health Care Associated Infections.”
 

Guidelines for Abstract Submission

Title                             : The title should be no more than 2 lines in length, in BLOCK capitals and in bold typeface.

Authors                       : Principal Author, Second Author, and Third Author etc.  Type family name first, followed by initials, not qualifications. Followed by affiliation (name of organization).

Format                        : Abstracts must be typed and be submitted via e-mail (Microsoft Word files preferred).
All information must be set out in the following order: Title, Authors and Affiliations, Objectives, Method, Results, and Conclusions.Only 1 x A4 page per abstract (21x30cms) using times new roman and 12 size fonts.

Text                             : Up to maximum of 250 words & no more than 1 x A4 page. The abstract should address completed work and use the following headings:

Objective         ; Describe the purpose of study/project (one sentence only)

Methods          ; Briefly outline the project, methods used

Results            ; Summarize results, include adequate evidence to support

Conclusions    ; Briefly indicate main conclusion/s

Main Area                    : Indicate which conference topic area the paper or poster will address.

Type of Presentation   : Indicate whether abstract is proposed as a:

* Oral presentation or * Poster presentation * or Oral/Poster

File Name                    : Use author last name to save file (NOT just 2009 or ‘Antalya’)

Contact                      : Full details are required on a separate page:

* Main contact name, * Organization, * Address, * Telephone and fax numbers, * e-mail address.

Authors will be notified via e-mail of the result of their submission by January 15, 2010 including whether their paper has been accepted for an oral or poster presentation. At this stage, there will be an opportunity to update the abstract. Once abstracts are confirmed, it is expected that the named presenter or a co-author will attend the conference to make the presentation. The decisions of the Scientific Committee will be final.

Each abstract will be acknowledged when it is received.
